Sushi Kanpai (First Hill) As expected, Kanpai gets spicy. Good! Happy hour 2:30-5:30 daily. 10-11pm Fri-Sat, and all day Sunday. Delicious appetizers for $4.50, and the happy hour menu is quite extensive. Columbia City Alehouse A grand little pub with terrific food. Happy hour (no details yet). Not much fried on the menu.. so try the gumbo or turkey burger! Stellar daily specials and extensive microbrew selection. Sister pubs are Hilltop and Greenwood's 74th Street alehouse(s). Plenty of parking in back.. 4914 Rainier Ave So. 723-5123. Columbia City.
Lottie Motts (Lottie's now) Columbia City. 4-7pm everyday w/ cheap apps. Extensive selection of bottled brews. Columbia City's main pub turned cafe.. Food is great, service is friendly. City Search says they offer the best espresso around and give a 'highly recommended' listing to them. 4900 Rainier Ave So. 725-0519. Columbia City.
