NOTE: An area of Seattle I don't get around too often.. most listings in Ballard or by Shilshole Marina.

The BalMar 4-6pm and 10-close daily. SeattleBarfly landed there on a hot afternoon visiting friends and we all enjoyed the place. I do remember generous drinks, nice eats like the dugeness crab cakes and Kobe beef 'Swedish Meatballs'.. And it all was easy on the pocketbook. Nice staff too -they helped me feel at home until my pals arrived. Aahh. Located in a classic remodeled 1920's Ballard department store with lotsa open brick and woodwork. Perfect for a date.. really. Also, call'em about booking the whole upstairs for private parties. 5449 Ballard Ave NW. (206) 297-0500.

Lombardi's
Classic Italian. Happy hour $4 select wines, cocktails, wells, and brews. Also, $4 gets spaghetti or a ceasar, then $5 for brochetta, pizzas, $6 tenderloin skewers, and calimari... tops SeattleBarFly's personal list. Happy 3-6pm, then 9-close everyday... plus all day Tuesdays. 2200 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA. 206-783-0055

Madame Ks
Ballard's got a new brothel, but thanks to Madame's sinfully good eats, the neighbors aren't complaining. Happy hour unknown; I just like the place for their food. 5327 Ballard Ave NW, Seattle, WA. (206) 783-9710

Matador, The  4-6pm and 10-close daily. $4 happy hour Mex food is stellar. No drink specials. Peso’s sister restaurant. Ballard. 2221 NW Market St. 206-297-2855

Hattie's Hat Stiff drinks, excellent pub grub, and a neighborhood feel that has earned this Ballard diner legendary status. Nuff said. 5231 Ballard Ave NW, Seattle, WA. (206) 784-0175

Ray's Boathouse  (Shileshole Marina area) Going from memory here. Happy hour 4-6pm, then 9-10pm Sun-Thrus. (9-11pm Fri-Sat.). $4 brews, $3.50 wells, $1 off wines... $3.95 salads, patatas Bravas, and hummus. Seared Ahi Tuna is now $6.95 as are the Manilla clams, $7.95 menu is beyond the scope of this happy hour service. I miss the salmon burger.. now at $7.95. But Rays' offers great food.. and a killer view of the sound. No happy hour on outside deck.. boo. Hey Ray's..pls. notice how busy Lk. Union's Harborside is? -their deck is all happy. Hint-hint! 206-789-3770 6049 Seaview Ave N.W., Seattle, WA. 98107 www.Rays.com

Anthony's Homeport  -Shileshole. (multiple locations). Happy hour is 3-6:30pm, most items $3.95 -$7.95, but likely real good. If like Bell Street location, they offer $2 brews with 1/2 price appetizers. OUTDOOR SEATING. Partnered with Chinook's at Fishermen's Terminal and many, many other Anthony's establishments all around the Puget Sound. This one is at 6135 Seaview Ave, Seattle, WA. 206-783-0780 www.anthonys.com -website does not list happy hours.. I called.. they do! ;)

Magnolia Village Pub Happy hour M-F4-6pm; Sat-Sun 10pm-midnight. Food and drink specials (sorry no details yet). 3221 W McGraw Street Seattle, WA 206-285-9756

Palisade -at Elliott Bay Marina. Happy hour daily 3-6pm, and M-Sat 9-11pm; Half price appetizers with drink specials. Stunning views of Elliott Bay and the marina.. in a huge open air location. Classy place for that memorable first date. 2601 W Marina Pl. Seattle, WA 206- 285-1000

Bad Albert's Ballard's long-standing bad boy is happy Monday only 3p-midnight, Tue-Sunday 3p- 6p. Why Monday is so damn special I dunno. $1 off canned beer, $3 wells, and 1/2 off appitizers. 5100 Ballard Ave W. 206-782-9623.

Honorable Mentions...
Jolly Rodger, La Isla, Boxcar Alehouse, Mulleady's, Queen Margherita, Copper Gate, Conor Byrne, Ballard Loft, Ballard Grill & Ale House, and Barking Dog..
